Abstract submission guidelines
Each participant can submit only one abstract as first author for either oral or poster presentation. The deadline for submission is 7th January, 2018. Abstracts must be in English and limited to a maximum of 300 words, excluding title, author names and affiliations. Abstracts should be divided into five sections: Title, Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Drawings, graphs or photographs should not be included in the abstract. Only submit abstracts based on completed research, provisional results cannot be accepted.
Please also state the preferred form of presentation (oral or poster). If you apply for a talk but are not selected for a talk slot, you will automatically be considered for a poster, the presentation of which you can then confirm or reject when the abstract decision is announced.
Abstracts will be blind reviewed by 3 referees including one representative of the EHBEA Steering Committee, one member of the Local Organizing Committee, and one academic drawn from a pool of expert reviewers. Based upon the three recommendations, the Organizing Committee will accept or reject the presentation. Accepted abstracts will be arranged into sessions by the committee.
Information about the status of the abstract will be emailed to its first author in February.
